چکیده
Abstract Mn 4+ ‐activated CaAl 12 O 19 (CAO: ) is recognized as a promising candidate for red phosphor used in wide color gamut displays. However, the spontaneous self‐reduction of to 2+ occurs charge compensation through ‐Mn substitution Al 3+ ‐Al , lowering quantum efficiency . To suppress self‐reduction, some divalent metal ions, including Ba Sr Cd Zn and Mg are added instead but only small luminescence enhancement observed. In this paper, remarkable CAO: via co‐doping Be reported. The photoluminescence properties studied function doping concentration, optimal concentration 0.01 found. internal 74.9% external 56.3% achieved under UV excitation, higher than those other ions. This study indicates that addition dominates because closer size backlight light‐emitting diodes using fabricated, exhibiting 110.1% Nation Television Standards Committee (NTSC) gamut, wider both current commercial K 2 SiF 6 : (KSF) conventional one YAG yellow phosphor.

Perceptually-based Gamut Extension Algorithm for Emerging Wide Color Gamut Display and Projection Technologies
While wide color gamut (WCG) capabilities are a key element of emerging display and projection technologies, at present most image content is recorded using standards such as DCI-P3 for cinema or BT.709 for TV that have a reduced color gamut. Therefore, there is a need for gamut extension methods that process regular content and allow to appreciate the full color potential of new displays, impr...
متن کاملSelf-calibrating wide color gamut high dynamic range display
High Dynamic Range displays offer higher brightness, higher contrast, better color reproduction and lower power consumption compared to conventional displays available today. In addition to these benefits, it is possible to leverage the unique design of HDR displays to overcome many of the calibration and lifetime degradation problems of liquid crystal displays, especially those using light emi...
متن کاملSix-primary color projection display for expanded color gamut reproduction
A range of the reproducible color, i.e., color gamut, of the conventional display devices such as CRTs (cathode ray tubes) and LCDs (liquid crystal displays) is sometimes insufficient for reproducing the natural color of an object through color imaging systems. In this paper, a six-primary color display is developed to reproduce the expanded color gamut, by using two conventional RGB projectors...

Hung-Shing Chen Shih-Han Chen Abstract — Owing to the fast developments of computer networks and color imaging technologies, there is a tendency towards remote proofing in the printing or textile industries. More cases such as cross-display color matching will occur in the future information society. The problems of color mismatching we usually find in cross-display devices have been widely dis...
متن کاملPreferred Color Gamut Boundaries for Wide-Gamut and Multi-Primary Displays
Preferred chroma enhancement and its dependence on hue are studied in a twopart experiment using a wide-gamut multi-primary display. Earlier research showed a clear dependence on hue but was limited by the gamut of the display it employed; the present work builds on this while removing the gamut constraints. In the first part of the present experiment, a tuning task was used to refine the prefe...
